A Night in the Snowflake House...

4 pm – leave work to pick up kids.

4:40 pm – get to house and switch out vehicles so crazy doesn’t deny the boys getting to leave in my car.

4:55 pm – pick up girls from school

5:01 pm – pick up boys from crazy’s house.

5:05 pm – drop Jr.Mr.S off at school for wrestling practice

5:22 pm – get home, sort mail, change clothes

5:35 pm – have Jr.Ms.S start homework; start dinner; read a book while cooking

6:05 pm – Explain to Jr.Ms.S how to finish dinner; have little kids get ready to go back to town.

6:15 pm – drive to town to pick up Jr.Mr.S

6:27 pm – get to school; wait 6 minutes for practice to end.

6:40 pm – back to house; have boys help take the trash to the top of the driveway for trash day tomorrow.

6:47 pm – serve dinner – Chili Mac – Yummy! Talk about nonsense at dinner (There’s a country in Africa called Chad - maybe LMS should marry a boy named Chad and live in Chad so she can say ”this is my husband Chad and we live in Chad Africa” – TS1 has a friend named Chad – There’s a country in Europe called Transylvania – if the governor says they can be out of school they can be out – etc…)

7:10 pm – Clean up kitchen, unload and load dishwasher.

7:16 pm – break up fight over what show we’re watching.

7:20 pm – sit down with laptop – drop it – have to restart it – mess with getting internet started – download pictures off camera

7:34 pm – start this blog; text Mr. S

7:56 pm – get boys ready to go with crazy

7:59 pm – boys go to crazy’s

8:10 pm – have girls get ready for bed

8:30 pm – put girls to bed, take a shower

8:41 pm – feed and water animals. Pet the cats for a little while

8:47 pm – watch tv

8:56 pm – realize Mr. S is recording some dorky program and the dvr is about to switch over to that so I can’t watch “Keeping up with the Kardashians” (seriously…which is more important here?) (and does anyone know how to make the DVR switch which one it’s recording on?)

8:57 pm – fix it so Mr. S’s show records at a different time and continue watching my show

9:25 pm – decide I’m too tired to stay up and wait for Mr.S to finish his gallivanting around up in Minnesota for a good night call and just text him that I’m going to bed.

9:31 pm – climb into bed with the next best thing besides Mr. S – Edward and Jacob

10:56 pm – realize that I fell asleep with Mr. Cullen and Mr. Black and the light on – turn that off and fall to sleep for good.

Good night!

What does your family's nights look like?
