I thought for my 100th post (yippee!!), I'd list 100 of my favorite things.
1. My husband, family and friends (listing all those people could be 100 by itself)
2. My wonderful children
3. Random hugs and kisses from my kids.
4. Holding hands
5. Slow dancing
6. Giggling (myself, kids, babies)
7. A fun date with my hubby
8. Christmas (all holidays but especially Christmas)
9. Parties
10. Having people over to the house

100 things that make me happy - the weather edition
Since the weather is crappy again (and school is out again), I thought I'd try to put a positive note on things and think about happy things. Since all I'm thinking about is the crappy weather, I thought happy weather thoughts would be a good theme for today.
Here's my ten weather happy things:
1) Snow – in Colorado – while skiing.
2) That first warm spring morning when you walk outside in a jacket and realize you don’t need it.
3) When the sun is coming up or already up when I wake up in the morning for work.
4) When the sun is still up for hours after I get home from work.
5) The breeze that comes through the house when we get to leave the windows or deck door open.
6) The smell and sound of a nice spring rain.
7) Lightning
8) Watching the fireflies in the summer come out while sitting on the deck with my husband.
9) Snuggling by the fireplace
10) Sunshine
I'll take any kind of sunshine right now - even if there's snow in the picture
What makes you happy?

101 in 1001 Challenge
The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
Start date: Wednesday, January 6, 2010
Complete date: Thursday, October 3, 2012
